How Do I Set Up My Utilities?

All tenants are responsible for setting up their own services, such as electricity, water, gas, and internet. To help streamline this process, we have compiled a list of the providers you will most likely need based on the location of your rental home.

ELECTRICITY

Austin Energy

Serves Austin and some smaller municipalities in Travis and Williamson Counties

City of Austin utility services are bundled. This includes drainage, electricity, solid waste, street service, wastewater, and water. Within Austin city limits, visit City of Austin Utilities and/or call 512-494-9400 to start, stop, and transfer services.
